Keenpine is hand made from reclaimed pine. This is timber
rescued mainly from old buildings, which is not only very
environmentally friendly but also adds to the character of
each piece. This wood wears the scars of it's past with
pride so you will be able to identify old nail holes, etc.
Timber is a natural resource and as such will adapt to its
environment. Humidity is the main issue and in a hot dry
home cracks can occur which merely compliment the piece and
add to it's aged character. It is often mentioned by
customers that if their child were to ride a bike into a
piece of this pine and bruise a panel this would also add to
the character. Could this be the first childproof furniture?
